23rd-29th April is FASHION REVOLUTION WEEK!
The so-called FASHION REVOLUTION WEEK is a campaign which was initiated after the ‘Rana Plaza’ catastrophe in Bangladesh in the year 2013. At this time 1138 Menschen died because of the collapse of the Rana Plaza building, in which many people worked for well-known textile companies. The disaster created public awareness for the many problems which still exist in garment industries.
Since then the campaign is asking companies to make their production more transparent. With the hashtag ‘I made your clothes’ the people who are manufacturing the garments are made visible. Also the customers can ask brands with the hashtag ‘Who made my clothes?’ and push them to make their production chain more transparent.

So we would like to use the opportunity to introduce some of the women in Portugal and FREESET/India who are actually weaving, knitting, cutting, sewing etc. our collections and making everything possible. Of course many more people are involved in this process (also men:)) and we are showing only the ones who agreed to publish their photo in the internet.
We would like to thank every single person who is part of the creation! Without the great work of all these people our ideas wouldn’t be able to become alive.
Also at this point we would like to thank you, our customers, because you are the ones who give our work a real meaning! ♥
